Voodoo Modded Marshall 1959HW Hand Wired (reissue) amp with Mercury Magnetics Transformers.

For those wondering bout this Mod; Not too long ago we acquired a very rare amp that was used on a couple famous records & tours. We cannot divulge the name due to legal reasons & trademark issues, but suffice to say you are all very familiar with the guitarist, the band & songs. We’re calling this the ‘5160 Mod’ & we will have this available on our site for everyone shortly.

Specs; The Mod converts the amp into a (4) Gain Stage design. It is a high gain design but is equally capable of capturing a wide range of tones. I just put the finishing touches on another 1959HW that is shipping out today & I was playing everything from Modern Blues, Classic Rock, 80’s tones to Metal tones.

For versatility purposes I recommend going with our 3-Position mini toggle ‘Bright’ switch & our ‘Bottom’ control, which we are considering including with the Mod when we list it on our site. We can also install our Tube Buffered FX-Loop as well as a Footswitchable Solo Boost Master Volume or convert the amp to a 2-Channel so you can switch between Rhythm tones & Lead / Solo tones.
