I got it back and I've played through it quite a few hours and I can only say this was the best $295 I've spent. The cleans ring out, they are crystal clear with much more sustain, and then the GAIN!! The gain is very clean, and it still has that Recto high gain, you hear every string ring out when playing a chord, the sustain and harmonics come out of my guitar so easy! If you're thinking about doing this, go for it! You won't be sorry! I immediately contacted Voodoo and they were extremely helpful (they really do have the best customer service). When I got my preamp back I called 4 of my friends over who all play. We all plugged in and played on it and before we knew it 3 hours had passed! No one could believe the difference. The gain tones just sang, it was so smooth and easy to play.
