Customer Feedback - "Hi Trace, I bought a Les Paul this weekend at the House Of Guitars in Rochester NY. I went thru a bunch of them & had to play thru stock Marshalls & Mesa's. The disappointment with the tone of those amps was astounding to me. They all sounded like A$$! So I picked out a nice Blue 120th anniversary Studio Les Paul & as soon as I got home, ran to the rehearsal room & cranked it up. Oh man what a difference! I was extremely pleased with the guitar & the wicked awesome tone of my amp! Its heaven! Still love my Voodoo, never disappoints me and I haven't lusted over another amp since. Thanks Trace!" - Scott Fletcher, Kings Ferry, NY
Note: Amp is a JCM800 2205 Model w/ HG-Jose Mod

Richie Blackmore’s long time tech Dawk Stillwell stopped by a couple weeks ago for a visit. We were chatting about these amps, Richie’s rig in the Deep Purple & Rainbow days & more. As I was walking through the shop this morning this ’73 Major caught my eye again. As there were only about 600 of these amps made I wondered “How many have seen inside one of these?” I thought I would snap a quick photo of this rare beauty & share it with you. Have a great day! – Trace Davis, President / Founder

Vintage Tonal Bliss! - These amps were sent in so that one could be cloned to the other. These are 100 watt Super Leads from 1973 & 1974. We have installed a Post Phase Inverter Master Volume in place of one of the (4) Speaker Jacks so the customer could get cranked up vintage overdrive at any level what so ever.
These are used live as the gentleman plays in a Led Zeppelin & Jimi Hendrix Tribute bands based out of California. Lots of fun working on these & we have some other vintage amps in the queue such as a few Super Leads, (2) Plexis, (2) Majors, Magnatone & lots more!
Logged a 12 hour today, heading home to grab some food & get back into the shop early tomorrow!

Voodoo Modded Marshall JCM800 2203x Reissue that shipped out a few days ago. It's about -20 degrees here with the wind-chill & we are happy to several tube amps on the benches being worked on such as but not limited to DSL's, JMP-1's, Engl, H&K, 5153, V-Plex, V-Rock & blue printing / cloning an older Modded Marshall. The tubes are keeping us warm, now if only we can keep the flu at bay!

Posted On Facebook - "Gotta give it up to Voodoo Amps. The JMP-1 with the Mesa 2:90 power amp sounds pretty sick. All new SED “Winged-C” power tubes & CapJob on the 2:90 & Platinum Mod on the JMP-1 preamp. Sounds awesome. Gotta say also the packing job they did was by far the best I've ever seen from anyone hands down!" – Rick Jarret, Iowa
